OUR FACILITIES
Located close to the heart of Bishops Stortford, our facilities include: our scenic and splendidly maintained green and surrounding borders; a spacious fully-carpeted clubhouse, which comfortably accommodates upwards of 60 people and also has its own licensed bar. Same-sex changing rooms. Limited parking is available at the site; additional parking is a short walk away. The facility is wheelchair accessible.

Outstanding Quality Green
This is the main reason players or potentially new players join Havers Bowls Club. The green is a testament to the amazing hard work of our volunteer green keepers headed by Duncan Burrett. The green and its well kept pleasant surroundings appeals and attracts players and spectators alike.
FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO OUR MEMBERS
Our 6-rink grass green is a credit to the skills of Duncan Burrett, and our team of volunteer green keepers for everyone to experience the joys of playing lawn bowls during the Summer season. whether it be a gentle roll-up, or to represent the club in cups and competitions. Come and join us and be guaranteed to play bowls whatever your ability.
The Club has acquired a `Short Mat` indoor Bowls facility, to keep us in practice even out of season. In addition, our facilities also include: a licenced bar open to all members. Mens and ladies changing rooms and a spacious clubhouse.
The clubhouse is very much in use during the year for those who like to socialise. Friday evenings card schools, Quiz Nights, Race Nights and Bingo!

DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING
Thanks to Andrea Patient, AED Project Manager at SADS UK, we now have a defibrillator and trained members to use the equipment should the need ever arise.
